US video game sales jumped 25% in June 2006 to $844.5 mln, as Cars video game sold well, NPD Group reports. Game sales increased 15% to $444.4 mln, while hardware sales grew to $297.8 mln from $200.7 in May 2005. Cars video game sold around 646,000 units in its first month at retail, surpassing the debut performances of both “Finding Nemo” and “The Incredibles”.
