According to US China Business Council, US exports to China grew 32% from 2005 to 2006, 240% since 2000. China is not just a source of imports; it is also a large and growing market for US exports. California, with record exports in 2006 of $9.97 bln, Washington with $6.8 bln, and Texas with $6.6 bln lead all states in the export race to China.
