US e-commerce sales up 29.5% in Q4 2007

The estimate of US retail e-commerce sales for Q4 2007 totaled $41.8 bln, an increase of 29.5% from Q3 2007, according to the Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce. The Q4 2007 e-commerce estimate increased 18.2% from the Q4 2006; total retail sales increased 5.0% in the same period. E-commerce sales in Q4 2007 accounted for 3.9% of total sales.
