UK online advertising market to reach 356 mln pounds in 2005

Media Week magazine presents some interesting facts about the state of UK online ad market. Pay-per-click search spending accounts for some 40% of the total spending for online advertising, estimated at 356 mln pounds for 2005. 92% of UK internet users claim they never click on a paid-for listing, but keep in mind that 60% of UK search users don’t know the difference between paid-for listings and organic listings.
