Nielsen//NetRatings reported that traffic to surpassed American Idol’s Web site during the week ending February 12th. The Web ratings show the reverse trend of what is happening with television ratings, where American Idol is dominating the Olympics. attracted 509,000 unique visitors, while attracted 2.3 mln unique visitors and Torino2006 attracted 748,000 during the week ending February 12th. Olympic sites overall attracted nearly 3 mln home and work visitors. In comparison to the 2002 Winter Olympics, the current Winter Olympics are attracting 55% more people to from home than four years ago.
