Semiconductor Industry Association said it expected sales of semiconductors to rise 9.8% in 2006, to $249.6 bln, followed by an 11% increase in 2007. The SIA said last November that it had expected sales growth of 7.9%, to $245.5 bln 2005, followed by an increase of 10.5% in 2007.
