Q3 2006 plasma panel shipments increased 17% sequentially and 47% YTY, reaching a record 2.8 mln units, according to DisplaySearch. Plasma panel revenues also topped $2 bln for the first time, reaching $2.02 bln, up 10% sequentially and 29% YTY. The average selling price of a plasma panel dipped to $724, down 6% sequentially and 12% YTY.
