Movie screen advertising reached $438 mln in 2004

US advertisers invested $438 mln on cinema ads (TV-like commercials that run on screens in theaters before movies) in 2004, an increase of 23% over 2003, according to Cinema Advertising Council (CAC). MediaDaily News then notes that it makes cinema one of the fastest-growing major ad media, second to online ad spending, which rose 33% in 2004.
