Notebook sales led the charge during the Q1 2006, with a 12% increase in dollar volume over 2005. US consumers spent $3.3 bln on notebooks in Q1 2006. Unit volume increased 29.2% over sales from Q1 2005 as pricing declined 13.3% from Q1 2004, hitting an all-time low of less than $1,100.
