Mobile ad market

Wall Street Journal collected various predictions on mobile ad market. Revenue from advertising on mobile devices approached $1 bln in 2007, according to Gartner. Group M, an advertising forecaster owned by WPP, estimates that $479 bln will be spent on advertising world-wide in 2008. By 2011, Informa Group PLC in London puts the market at roughly $11.3 bln; Gartner forecasts $12.8 bln in global revenue; and eMarketer sees $16 bln over the same period.
