Media industry generated 1.3 trillion worldwide in 2005, 43% in North America

The media industry as a whole (TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, media websites) posted revenues of EUR 1.3 trln worldwide in 2005; the total will hit EUR 1.8 trln by 2010 (+7%). North America is the biggest market with 43% of media business, with Western Europe and Asia trailing far behind with 29% and Asia with 21%, Deutsche Bank says.
