IT spending in China to reach $142.3 bln in 2006

IT spending in China will soar to $142.3 bln in 2006, a 21% rise. By 2009, China will be the third largest IT and communications spender. India is seen as becoming a top 10 spender by next 2007, with expenditures of $65.5 mln, displacing Korea, World Information Technology and Services Alliance reports.
