Factory revenue and unit shipments for the High Performance Computing (HPC) technical server market exhibited 10% growth in Q2 2008, according to IDC. Revenues grew 10% over the Q1 2008 and 4% compared to Q1 2007 to reach $2.5 bln in the Q2 2007. Shipments of server system units in the Q2 2008 HPC market totaled 45,000, down 5% from the Q1 2008.
