HP in Q4 2006 retained the leadership position it attained during Q3 2006, shipping 11.6 mln PCs, up 21.1% from 9.6 mln in Q4 2005. This rise was more than three times higher than the overall PC industry’s average of 6.3% growth during the same period. Dell shipped only 9.6 mln PCs in the Q4 2006, down 8.6% from 10.5 mln during Q4 2005.
