Eastern European market share in IT to increase

The Eastern European IT market will grow three times faster than Western Europe between 2003 and 2007, creating opportunities and challenges for stakeholders following European Expansion on May 1st, 2004, according to Gartner. Research firm said Eastern Europe will move from having less than 8% to about 10% of the EU IT market, as an influx of financing from European Union (EU) funds enables accession countries to finance technology projects to drive their economies forward, as reported by Tekrati.
