China’s overall logistics IT market was estimated at RMB 1.162 bln in 2005, in which IT hardware accounted for 45.4% and network equipment, with limited revenue, accounted for only 7.4%. Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software accounted for 20.2% while service made up the remaining 27% of the total revenue. IDC forecasts by 2010, the logistics IT market will reach RMB 2.431 bln with a 2005-2010 CAGR of 15.9%, IDC says.
