Average cellular customer spends 6.9 hours a month on mobile phone

JD Power and Associates found that the average cellular customer in the US talks about 6.9 hours a month, which is 7% growth from 2004. The number of calls made or received by customers has increased from 77 a month in 2004 to 84 in 2005. Verizon Wireless ranked highest or was tied for the top spot in five of six US regions in terms of connection quality. It shared that ranking with T-Mobile in the Northeast and Southeast regions. Nextel ranked highest in the Southwest region.
