Overall subscriber growth increased in the pre-paid market by 7% and the post-paid subscriber market grew by 11%, according to IDC. Mobile data uptake was the primary reason for the Post-paid performance which has resulted in a decline in pre-paid subscriptions. Mobile messaging (including SMS and MMS) growth was 5.3% from Q2 2007 to Q3 2007. IDC expects the overall mobile market revenue to grow by 1 or 2 % in the forecasted 5 year period.
