Asia Pacific music market to generate $12.2 bln in 2011

In the US, new mobile music services and the surging popularity of ring backs will fuel digital distribution to mobile phones. Asia Pacific will be the fastest growing region in music business, advancing at a 5.4% CAGR to $12.2 bln in 2011 from $9.3 bln in 2006. Asia Pacific will pass the United States in 2008 to become the second largest region, PriceWaterhouseCooper said.
