American Girl fans have been visiting the official site of American Girl not only to learn more about the American Girl dolls, but also to stay up-to-date on special promotion and events as well as purchasing dolls and its accessories. Hitwise says that for the week ending Oct. 29, 2005 American Girl’s online store was #1 site visited after American Girl website, receiving a whopping 60.5% of their traffic. For the same week, Google.com drove 11.7% of traffic to American Girl website.
