Worldwide PC shipments totaled 68.5 mln units in Q3 2007, a 14.4% increase from Q3 2006, according to Gartner. PC shipments in Asia/Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) increased 23.4% and 16.4%, while PC shipments in the United States grew 4.7% (below Gartner’s forecast of 6.7% growth).
