65.5% of Americans get their news primarily from local TV

65.5% of Americans named local television news for their primary news source, compared with 28.4% who named local newspapers and 28.3% who named national network television news. The Internet was one of the top three choices for 11.2% of those surveyed, Radio and Television News Directors Foundation says. 3% said they read a blog daily; only 5% have watched news on a small screen.
