4.5-10.5 mln ZigBee nodes to be sold in North America in 2006

In 2006, In-Stat estimates between 4.5 mln and 10.5 mln ZigBee RF components will be sold. Commercial building control is, and will continue to be, the largest 802.15.4/ZigBee application. In 2005, North America represented 53% of all 802.15.4/ZigBee nodes in use.
