37.4% of HDTV owners have a vague idea of what HDTV actually means

37.4% of owners of HDTV sets were only vaguely aware of it and 1.5% were totally unaware, ViewSonic survey says. For non-owners, the equivalent figures were 50.2 and 20.2%.
