Global sales of wireless Bluetooth headsets for mobile phones rose 153% to 33 mln units in 2005, representing a wholesale value of $1 bln, and are expected to grow 70% in 2006. Motorola controlled 28.2% of the Bluetooth headset market, according to Strategy Analytics. Jabra was second with 16.3% and Plantronics third with 12.3% market share.
