2.3% of online ad spending in 2006 to go towards video ads

Less than 2% or $225 mln, of the $12.5 bln spent in online ads in 2005, went toward online video ads, according to eMarketer. In 2006 that share is expected to inch up to 2.3% as advertisers are expected to spend $385 mln in online video ads out of the total $16.7 bln earmarked for online advertising.
