Global mobile phone shipments experienced a healthy YTY growth of 17% and reached 180.61 mln in Q1 2005, Gartner says. Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and LG increased their market share compared to the results of Q1 2004, while Sony Ericsson and Siemens saw both unit shipments and market share fall.
