According to Ipsos-Reid, 15% of US adults say they are ?somewhat? or ?very? likely to get high-definition television (HDTV). Ipsos compares this to just 10% who planned to get HDTV in 2002. Ipsos finds that 76% of US adults are aware of HDTV, but a notable 40% say they?ve heard about it, but do not know anything about the programming. Still, just 23% say they have never heard of HDTV, down from 26% who said the same in 2002.
