According to IDC, the Spanish PC market saw growth of 24.7% in Q1 2005. Desktop sales grew by 24.5%, up from -3.9% in Q1 2004. While desktop shipments were boosted by buoyant consumer sales (30.9%), corporate renewals also continued to fuel volumes. Commercial desktop sales grew by 19.9%. HP cemented its #1 position in the Spanish PC market, increasing its market share to 22.2%.
