Chinese search engine market shares: Baidu – 52%, Google – 33%
China Internet Network Information Center says that Baidu.com search engine captured 52% of the audience in Beijing, China. Google was second with 33%. Sohu.com had 4.6% of the market, Sina had 4% and Yahoo! has 3.7% share. There was a total of 103 mln Internet users in China in June 2005.
