Casual, simple-to-play games to generate $250 mln in sales

Casual games, which are generally simple-to-play, short-duration games that are graphically unsophisticated, will represent about $250 mln a year in sales, according to an estimate given by PlayFirst to The New York Times. US gaming industry is expected to generate $8.4 bln in sales in 2005, according to a forecast by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
