Canadians receive 7,000 spam messages a year

Ipsos-Reid, in conjunction with Forge Marketing, finds Canadian Internet users receive an average 6,968 spam e-mail messages per year. Looking at just one week, Ipsos determined that 17% of Internet users in Canada receive 10 or more spam e-mail messages per week, while 10% say they get between 51 and 100 spam messages.
