Canadians find telemarketers, pop-ups and spam the most annoying
Prophis Research surveyed Canadians last month and found that telemarketing is considered the most annoying form of advertising, followed by online pop-up ads and spam. Each form of marketing received a rating over 4 on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 indicating ?extremely? annoying or intrusive. All other forms of online advertising claimed scores over 3, except for legitimate e-mail marketing, which garnered a score of exactly 2.8.
