The average tax burden for families at $25,000 declined, Wall Street Journal reports. US cities with highest tax burden for 2005 include Bridgeport, Connecticut, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA and Newark, NJ. Lowest tax burden is in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Anchorage, Alaska, Jacksonville, Florida, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
