Australian broadband revenues to grow at 18% a year
By June 2005 Australian broadband penetration has increased 10-fold from less than 1% in 2001 to 10.7%. Pyramid Research expects overall broadband revenue to grow at a CAGR of 18% throughout the next 5 years. This will be mainly driven by DSL revenue, whose growth exceeds overall broadband revenue. Broadband ARPS will stabilize at about $37 in 2010 where we assume operators will simultaneously preserve high-income customers through new services while seeking the next layer of subscriber.
