Amazon Web traffic 5% between Q1 2006 and Q1 2007

Web traffic to the Amazon parent company grew 5% YTY, from a three month average monthly unique audience of 47.8 mln in Q1 2006 to 50.4 mln in Q1 2007. The Amazon Web brand grew 5% in the same time period, from a three month average monthly unique audience of 40.8 mln to 43.0 mln. It remained the #1 Web property in Nielsen//NetRatings’ Mass Merchandiser category in
March 2007. The number of purchases at Amazon grew 12% YTY in Q1 2007, from 20.6 mln to 23.1 mln. Internet Movie Database grew 9% Q1 2006 vs. Q1 2007, increasing from a three month average monthly unique audience of 19.0 mln to 20.8 mln. It ranked No. 2 in the Videos/Movies category in March 2007, behind YouTube.
