$78.4 bln to be spent on Internet ads in the US in 2011
Internet ad spending in the United States will total $78.4 bln in 2011, up from $47.2 bln in 2006, averaging 10.7% CAGR. In EMEA, rising broadband penetration will drive internet advertising. In Asia Pacific, government initiatives will boost broadband subscribership and eventually lead to a decline in dial-up. Latin America will increase from $6.0 bln in 2006 to $12.2 bln in 2011, a 15.1% CAGR, PriceWaterhouseCooper said.
