$4.1 bln spent on Internet ads in Q2 2006

In Q2 2006 Internet advertising revenue totaled nearly $4.1 bln, a 36% increase over Q2 2005, and up 5.5% over Q1 2006. Search-related advertising rose 40% in the first half of the year, while classified rose 20%, Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers report.
